Two Rare David Bowie Albums To Be Released For Record Day

Two previously unreleased David Bowie albums are set to be released to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Record Store Day. Both of these albums will be limited edition.

‘Cracked Actor (Live in Los Angeles 1974)’ is a three album set that was recorded in September 1974 for the Philly Dogs Tour which had never officially been released. ‘Bowpromo’ is a 1971 promo album that original featured songs from both David Bowie and Dana Gillespie. The limited edition re-release will only contain David Bowie tracks. The album features alternative version of songs that later went on to appear on Hunky Dory, which was also was released in 1971.

At the moment, it is not known how many of these limited edition albums will be released but it is said that less than 500 copies of ‘Bowpromo’ were made
