Royal Blood Tease New Music

Royal Blood have shared some new music that they have been working on twitter today (March 27th)

They shared the below clip of them working in the studio with the caption “This is us then, where are you now?”

In 2014, Royal Blood released their self-titled album. They are expected to a release a follow up at some point this year. Back in December they released an album trailer with the title “2017”

“We had a warehouse space in Burbank and it was great,” frontman Mike Kerr said. “We’d party at night and write all day. By that point, we felt the record was coming together and there was a bit of a theme between the songs.”

He went on to say that they wrote around 50 songs for the upcoming album, living by the idea that “anything you’re not proud of, bin it” – with the results proving “way sexier, more confident sounding” than their debut.

They have been asked if the new album will feature more piano, drummer Ben Thatcher said: “We’re not turning into Keane, put it that way. We’re still bringing the rock n’ roll.”
