Royal Blood Announce Huge UK Arena Tour For 2017

Royal Blood have released details for their upcoming 2017 arena tour.

Royal Blood are about to release their second album, ‘How Did We Get So Dark‘, which will be out on June 16th. This tour will follow on from of their intimate shows and some pretty big UK festival dates.

Frontman Mike Kerr has been speaking about the writing process for the album.

He said, “We had a warehouse space in Burbank and it was great. We’d party at night and write all day. By that point, we felt the record was coming together and there was a bit of a theme between the songs.”

He went on to say that they wrote around 50 songs for the upcoming album, living by the idea that “anything you’re not proud of, bin it” – with the results proving “way sexier, more confident sounding” than their debut.

They have been asked if the new album will feature more piano, drummer Ben Thatcher said: “We’re not turning into Keane, put it that way. We’re still bringing the rock n’ roll.”
