Muse have just revealed that they have been recording three new songs at a studio in London.
Over the last few months, Muse have been sharing pictures on their social media accounts of them working on writing songs and of themselves in the recording studio. Now a dedicated fan has tracked them all the way to Air Studios in London to see how the recording is going.
According to reports by Binaural, the fan, who is known as ‘Florian Muse’, met up with the band outside of the studio and found out that so far Muse have recorded three new songs. One of these songs was ‘heavy’ and the other two were ‘not really’.
Muse have used Air Studios in the past to record songs such as ‘Absolution’, ‘The 2nd Law’ and ‘Drones.
We are unsure if these three songs will be a part of a new album, which would be a follow up to their seventh studio album, ‘Drones’, which was released in 2015. Fans are certainly starting to get their hopes up. Last year, Matt Bellamy suggest that the band could look to go down a more acoustical direction for their next album.
“I feel like I say it every time with each album but I feel like it might be time to actually do something a bit more stripped down,” he said.
Muse will be touring the US with Thirty Seconds To Mars and Pvris later this year.
