Black Sabbath Working On New Documentary

Tony Iommi has said that Black Sabbath are working on a documentary

During Black Sabbath’s The End tour, they played a total of 81 different dates across Europe, Australia, New Zealand and North and South America. Their last show was a sold out show in Birmingham back in February.

NBC News are now reporting some interesting music news, as they have said that Tony Iommi is in “the process of mixing the sound from the final Black Sabbath shows in Birmingham for a possible live album.”

Tony has also said, “We’ll actually be doing a documentary. My job at the moment is to have a listen to what we’ve done.”

Tony has also been speaking about the choral composition that he worked on titled How Good It Is. He wrote this for the Birmingham Cathedral. Check out How Good Is It below

Tony says: “It really wasn’t anything to do with religion. I don’t follow any religious path… religiously. It just seemed like a nice thing to do. It was really nice to work with a choir and to do something for our city.

“I enjoy the challenge of doing something most people wouldn’t expect from me.”

Iommi adds: “I sort of could hear the thing in my head. I knew I would not write anything with really heavy riffs – the idea was to record it in the cathedral.

“I put an idea down, sent to the reverend, she really liked it and that was it.”
